Video of The Day: Nada Surf

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Today's video is all about nostalgia. Nostalgia for those halcyon, glory days (or not so glory days, as the case may be) of high school. The one and only Nada Surf made one of the definitive high school videos for their bitingly sarcastic little ditty "Popular" way back in 1996, and I remember it being in steady rotation on MTV. Back when music videos were a thing MTV used to do. Nada Surf-er Matthew Caws puts in a great appearance as the somewhat kooky teacher type, and the extras have the whole student cliches down pat. Man alive, I love this video.
