Video Of The Day: James Apollo

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Christmastime has the uncanny ability to bring out the sads in many folks. Something about the end of the year can be cause for some serious bah humbug. James Apollo captures the essence of the Christmastime blues perfectly with "Ho Ho, Ho Hum." The black and white clip is throwback in feel, and the somewhat seedy early 60s club vibe fits his downtrodden showman thing so very well. It's a dandy.
