The Week In Shows: 7/7-7/13

An impossibly lovely Sunday morning at the end of a long holiday weekend is as good a time as any to plot ones weekly live music schedule, I think. Let's take a look at what's happening in the greater DC metro this week, with the added bonus of filling you in on what I may or may not be taking in over the course of this abbreviated week. Hot diggity!

As you probably noticed, there were no show calendars last month. It was my birthday month and I'll slack if I want to. But now, it's time to resume our regularly-scheduled show planning. These are my suggestions for your upcoming week, friends, which although a slow week in the good show department, I strongly suggest you brave the heat (and your America Day hangovers) and check some of these shows out.
