Video Of The Day: Tomboy

There’s a bunch of videos out there. Some of them are good. Some of them are a cut above. I like to think my picks for Video Of The Day are a cut (or two) above.

Supposedly, Tomboy's "Hang Out" is a love song. To balance out any loving sentiments, the band opted for a gloomy video that says less love and more murder mystery, and which leaves the door open for all sorts of questions. It's a beautifully-shot video, and who doesn't love shit that's open to such interpretation? For my part, I wonder who killed who...The song itself is a treat, lovely powerhouse vocals and slinky, smoky bleeps. Very subtle, and very enjoyable.
