June 5: Washed Out Day

Today is a pretty great day, y'all. Particularly so if you happen to be in the greater DC metro. Because today, you see, Washed Out is in town, which is pretty much cause for exultant, exuberant, ebullient glee.

I was beginning to resign myself to not seeing the Washed Out magic happen live, but happily I shall be at the world-famous 9:30 Club tonight to take in those heavenly sounds. The time of year is just right , with the sultry humidity of early summer starting to creep into town providing the appropriate backdrop for the sultry washes of sound made by Mr. Greene and his cohorts.

So a very happy Washed Out Day to each and every one of you! See you at the show.
