Singles Club: Ponctuation

O, Canada. Sometimes the exports are terrible (y'all know who I'm talking about). But sometimes, the exports are mighty fine. One such import from Canadia that's caught my ear lately is Ponctuation, a fiercely French-singing outfit out of Quebec.

Scuzzy as you like, "27 Club" shambolicly cavorts and careens around somewhat snotty, somewhat bored French vocals. There's definitely some strut here, and the pervasive jangle makes for a catchy little number. It's a song that doesn't quite snarl, it sneers. And I like it.
