Guest Best Of: Starring Landis Wine (White Laces)

Y'all know that my Best Of 2013 is a little ways away (I promise, it'll be earlier than last year's roundup), but to get you in the end of year mood, I thought I'd ask a few musician friends for their picks for the best records of this year. I'm also nosy/curious, and just wanted to see what they'd choose. After all, as I said last year, a person's record selections say a lot about them.

It's no secret I have a crush on the music scene in Richmond. They're pretty spoiled down there, but thankfully it's not too far away to keep tabs on the scene. White Laces is probably one of the best RVA bands around, making a sharp, swirly noise that is rather hard to ignore (to help guide your mind, they recently played shows with Fuzzy favorites Weekend). The next list of must-haves from 2013 comes from White Laces' own Mister Landis Wine, he of guitar and vocal duties. It's an extensive, eclectic list, and you might see one or two of these on my list as well. Let's see what caught the eye of Mister Wine:
