Meet The Dead Heads

Y'all know that my eyes are always open for new psych. I've just found a little something from good old Australia (evidently a hotbed of psych rock activity) that I'd like to share with you. Ladies and gents, please warmly embrace The Dead Heads. 

"Power Tripping," from their hopefully soon-to-be released debut, is a splendid shambles of a song. Loud and crunchy, the four minutes and nine seconds are filled with dark, simmering sneers and snarls. The haunted refrain of the organ is a nice touch. It's  a fine choice for a lead single, and has definitely more than piqued my interest. Don't sleep on Oz, my friends. It's a land not to be ignored, especially for those with a sweet tooth for psych.
