The Untitled Interview #164 – SXSW Edition: Starring LG (Dead Leaf Echo)
Last Summer, I rang in America's birthday up in Baltimore at the Golden West with some crazy noisy bands, including my beloveds in Ringo Deathstarr, The Vandelles, and the eardrum destroying-inclined Dead Leaf Echo. The noise this outfit makes turns hefty volume into something oh so pretty, dreamweaving their way through shoegaze and dreampop and making each song a special, shimmering racket. You might hear shades of My Bloody Valentine, Catherine Wheel, The Verve, Lush, and The Cure there in the shadows of their songs. LG commences below to talk festival turkey, and if you're able to see them in Austin your ears might not thank you, but your soul sure will.
