Sounds Of SXSW #7: Hollis Brown

SXSW is upon us once again, my friends, and sadly, for mostly work-related reasons, I won't be there (alas, alack, etc etc). However, there are plenty of good bands that will be in Austin, and I'm going to post little somethin-somethins for y'all to enjoy, whether you're headed down to Texas or not.

I've decided that "Ride On The Train" is one of those perfect summer songs, the kind that oozes afternoons spent on dusty back roads, pickup tires kicking up clouds of dirt on the way from the river to the ghost town. New York fellas Hollis Brown are taking their show down to Austin, and have a number of shows at which they will hopefully play this heck of a tune.
