Sounds Of SXSW #20: Adam and The Amethysts

SXSW is upon us once again, my friends, and sadly, for mostly work-related reasons, I won't be there (alas, alack, etc etc). However, there are plenty of good bands that will be in Austin, and I'm going to post little somethin-somethins for y'all to enjoy, whether you're headed down to Texas or not.

If you've ever wondered to yourself just how to go about putting some "Auld Lang Syne" action into a sweet, perfectly summery shimmer of a song, wonder no more! Adorably oddball Montreal outfit Adam & The Amethysts has made that very thing come to fruition with their delightful "Prophecy." It jingles! It jangles! It yelps! And I love it.

Adam & The Amethysts will be at SXSW from 3/15-3/16.
