Sounds Of SXSW #1: Jonquil

SXSW is upon us once again, my friends, and sadly, for mostly work-related reasons, I won't be there (alas, alack, etc etc). However, there are plenty of good bands that will be in Austin, and I'm going to post little somethin-somethins for y'all to enjoy, whether you're headed down to Texas or not.

A great number of Brits always manage to make it to Austin for SXSW, and this year sees the urbane appeal of Oxfordians Jonquil heading down Texas way. I'm currently addicted to their latest jam, "It's My Part," from their forthcoming LP the third, Point Of Go. I think you'll agree that this song is glacially, frigidly cool, in all the right places and all the right ways. If you're in Austin, make sure Jonquil's a part of your plans.
