LP Lust: Check Engine Edition

This weekend was a pretty good weekend, I have to say. Sure, I wasn't packing to get ready to go down to SXSW, but I still managed to have one heck of a time. This despite the whole check engine light issue that requires resolution soon. But who needs car repairs when you can buy records?

Part of what made it so great was my visit up to Baltimore to spend some quality best friend time with my bestest amiga Laura. After we had a (really late) boozey brunch full of mimosas and sweet potato pancakes at Rocket To Venus, we decided the next thing we needed to do was go pay a visit to the Sound Garden, site of so many dollars flying out of my wallet. This visit was no different, and it's definitely the most I've splashed out on for new vinyl in quite some time. Well worth it, though, I'd say. It was tough to keep myself relatively reigned in as well, and I left quite a few records behind that I'd like to have. Maybe next time.

* Sri Aurobindo - Eyes 7"

* The La De Das - The La De Das

* The Horrors - Skying

* A Place To Bury Strangers - Onwards To The Wall

* The War On Drugs - Slave Ambient

* Veronica Falls - Veronica Falls
