Crossing The Pond: NOSE

Seeing as I'm beginning to feel just a wee bit angsty about not being down in Austin this week, there's probably no better time to be listening to some loud as fuck, snarly and somewhat bratty English noise-rock with a side of punk agitators. Enter NOSE.

I could tell immediately we were meant to be together. Loud, chunky guitars this side of blasting out speakers and vocals alternating betwixt bored as hell and more than a little indignant make the two songs on Noise all sorts of enjoyable. Straightforward and brazen, "Giant Parasitic Worm" and "Intellectual Inbreeding" toe the line between impish immaturity and cheeky charm. NOSE is doing their damndest to put Scarborough on the map for something other than that dang fair.
